Kanmi: sweets

Matcha (green tea) bavarois.
Creamy and thick. My favorite one. Cream anmitsu.
Some fruits, anko (red-beans jam) and ice cream are on kanten (jelly made from sea vegetable gelatine) . Taste with mitsu (special sweet sauce)

Siratama anmitsu.
Shiratama
is a kind of dumpling made from rice flour. It is one of the typical toppings of anmitsu.

Wagamama

I have been interested in Japanese restaurant; Wagamama in Europe. I got a chance to visit London and try Wagamama ramen, finally. I noticed that Wagamama is very popular in London and I can find everywhere in the city. The presentation of the ramen is like a south east Asian noodle. I cannot say this is Japanese food, and this is very new for me. I would say food in this restaurant is mixture of Asian food not only Japanese but also Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysia....
If a Japanese goes to this restaurant with expecting Japanese taste, the Japanese must be complaining about the food. However, I think it is good that taking Japanese food into different food culture by arranging to the local preference.
